Online Speech Therapy for Kids Sydney
Speech therapy helps children communicate to the best of their ability, through spoken language, non-verbal communication, and, where needed, support with feeding.

Telehealth Therapy From the Comfort of Home
Telehealth speech therapy involves delivering speech and language therapy services online, using videocall. This can be an alternative to face-to-face speech therapy when you’re unable to attend our clinic due to travel, distance, or when your or your child are unwell.
Online sessions can involve
- Assessment: We are able to assess your child’s speech and language abilities through video call, where the we interacts with your child and observe their communication skills. We are also able to use assessment tools via an online platform to assess communication.
- Therapy Sessions: Sessions are live, real-time sessions conducted via video call. We engage your child in various activities and exercises designed to improve their speech and language skills and incorporate interactive tools such as digital games, and visuals to make the sessions engaging and effective.
- Training and Support: Parents are often involved in the therapy process. Sessions incorporate guidance and training to parents on how to support your child’s progress at home. This might include strategies for practicing speech exercises and creating a conducive environment for communication. We also regularly use telehealth to meet with parents to discuss your child’s progress, set new goals, and provide training.
Telehealth speech therapy is an effective alternative way to support child’s communication goals. Get in touch with us if you would like your child to attend telehealth speech therapy.
How does speech therapy help children?
- Early speech and language difficulties - if a child has a speech or communication difficulty, early support matters. The sooner a child starts therapy, the better the outcomes tend to be.
- Cognitive-communication difficulties - some children find it hard to remember information, hold attention, organise their thoughts, or problem solve, all of which affect communication.
- Receptive language difficulties - trouble understanding and processing what is said to them.
- Expressive language difficulties - trouble putting words together, a limited vocabulary, or difficulty using language in a socially appropriate way.

It is a pleasure to leave a review for Lucy. Lucy has worked with our daughter over a period of around 12 months. We have seen huge improvements with our daughter's lisp, confidence, and pronounication of tricky speech clusters. From my perspective as a parent, the warm, engaging, and nurturing clinic, and Lucy's bubbly and positive personality has meant the world to us. Even when our daughter has really struggled, Lucy always took a strength based approach and made us feel safe and that everything would be 'okay'. My daughter adores Lucy because she made all learning fun and playful. We have worked with many allied health professionals over the years, and no one has come close to how caring, kind, and skilled Lucy is. Thank you. <3Posted on Google![]()

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Samantha. She has been incredibly patient, kind, and professional throughout our sessions. Our daughter has made noticeable progress in her speech and confidence, and we couldn’t be more grateful! The sessions are always well-structured, engaging, and tailored to suit my daughter’s needs. Samantha creates such a warm and supportive environment that my daughter looks forward to every visit. Highly recommend to any families looking for a skilled and compassionate speech therapist!Posted on Google![]()

Samantha is very knowledgeable, professional, kind, patient and very supportive. I’ve been seeing her for past 2 years for my son who’s been diagnosed with CAS (childhood apraxia of speech) and she’s outstanding speech therapist. She’s so dedicated and is able to get so much from my son as he loves her sessions so much. You would not find a better and more supportive speech pathologist. Highly recommend her.Posted on Google![]()

I am so thankful to have been told about it Sam when the clinic first opened. Sam is very passionate about what she does and takes her business seriously. She is always open to communication with parents about different approaches and has also been a support to me personally as a parent. Thank you, Sam, and happy first birthday!Posted on Google![]()

Samantha has been incredibly supportive of both my girls who are 2 and 3 who had a speech delay and concerns around development. She is honest, helpful, kind, warm and has great skills particularly with kids that have behavioural concerns. I would highly recommend her services. She has a world of knowledge of multidisciplinary teams and is able to suggest best steps to access support and which support would benefit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is online speech therapy as effective as in-person therapy for children?
There is no minimum age. If your child is talking and stuttering, we can assess them, even from two years old.
At what age can children do online therapy?
We see children of all ages online. Younger children have a parent alongside to help guide the activities, while older children often manage much of the session independently.
What do I need for an online session?
A laptop, tablet, or computer with a camera, a reliable internet connection, and a quiet space. We send you a simple link to join, so there is no complicated setup.
What if my child will not sit still in front of a screen?
That is normal, and our sessions are designed for it. We build in movement, play, and hands-on activities away from the screen, so therapy does not rely on your child sitting still the whole time.
